Consulting Experience

ConSpecT was founded in 1993 by Robert W. Humbarger. Prior to that, he had 22 years experience with an architectural firm as their field representative and specification writer for specialized roofing and exterior wall projects. He has been a Roof Consultant Institute member since 1992, receiving
a Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) certification 1993. In 1998, he has received a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification from the Construction Specification Institute (CSI), and in 2009, a Green Roof Professional (GRP) certification from Green Roofs for Healthy Cities.

ConSpecT was incorporated 1995 as a service to assist building owners and facility managers in getting the best return on investment in roof and exterior wall systems.  

Mr. Brian R. Ullery is a graduate engineer from the University of North Carolina and a ConSpecT principal since 1996. He has been an RCI member since 1994, and has a Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) certification. Prior to joining ConSpecT, Mr. Ullery had 4 years experience with Canon Consulting Engineering in Spartanburg, S.C., performing infrared moisture surveys, and managing 4.5 million square feet of roof assets.
