Ancaro, Inc., originally formed in Michigan in 1971, serves as a consulting firm with small and emerging growth firms in new and high technology to improve business
operations for owners and managers with little business experience. Financial planning and management are emphasized, and include capital planning sourcing. Ancaro moved to Mishawaka in 1981 to be nearer clients in
Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. In working with technical people the need for editing their writings became obvious. Thus, Perkins Associates was formed as a unit of Ancaro, Inc. to provide that service.
Perkins is the principal consultant of Ancaro, Inc.. He has a B.S. in Business from Indiana University based on a prior three years of undergraduate engineering. He
served as a naval officer in aviation radar prior to entering business. His business experience first was in the aerospace industry as 11 years with the Bendix Corporation, and later as a co-founder of Veda Incorporated, system
engineering consultants to the U.S. Navy.
He served Veda as vice-president and secretary-treasurer. Ten years later he formed his consulting practice to which technical editing has been added. His clients have
been firms electronics, engineering, aerospace,
research & development, cable television, water and oil well drilling,
venture capital, agriculture, radio broadcasting. Assignments have included financial planning and
management, strategic planning, growth capital requirements. Also, he has conducted business financial seminars for small business owners and first tier management employees. He has edited business and technical writings and
websites.
