We specialize in high-value advertising and public relations for business-to-business marketers. Our fundamental operating concept is that market experience is the essential ingredient distinguishing good B-to-B communications from ineffective work. Creative concepts start with an analytical process, we call a Creative/Marketing Action Plan (C/Map). Once the key message has been formulated in words, it can be visualized dramatically on paper or on video screen. Without benefit of a C/Map, projects almost always miss their mark and cost more.
Boasting over 35 years of marketing, public relations and creative experience, Jim Dominello is a writer and marketer who achieves bottom-line results for clients. His
background includes management roles with large B-to-B ad agencies, where he supervised marketing communications for products as NIBCO Valves, HomeCrest Cabinets, McGill Bearings, CTS Electronic Components and Geocel Sealents.
In earlier years, he gained valuable company-side marketing experience working for Kawneer, an architectural products manufacturer, and Wheelabrator, a capital goods manufacturer. He began as a writer for The South Bend Tribune,
after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Communication Arts.
Significant Client Projects
- For international door manufacturer, PREMDOR, we created the name (PremVu) and slogan (More to View; Much to Value) which were used to launch a new patio door line.
- For Hertzler Systems, we developed an ad for QS-9000 software that averaged 20 Website "hits" per day, and over 100 trial downloads in the first month.
- For Niles Aluminum Products, our trade media ads increased customer base by 50% in six months; and by 25% over the next three years.
- For Shearer Communications, direct mail and newspaper ads for Motorola radios helped increase this dealer's market penetration by several times during a 10-year period.
- Publicity for ODL's KeepTrak Storage System produced exposure to potentially 12 million consumers, not including those who saw it featured on the PBS TV program, Home Time.
- For past clients, we created ads that earned readership awards in Machine Design and Civil Engineering, and received copywriting recognition from B-to-B
